Cookie Policy
How StitchSnap uses essential cookies, browser storage, and optional analytics or support scripts.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with matching requests. Similar technologies include localStorage, pixels, and scripts that store or read an identifier. StitchSnap uses these technologies only for the purposes described below and does not currently represent advertising cookies as active.
Essential cookies and storage
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
stitchsnap_pattern_session | Associates an anonymous browser with its saved pattern records and rate-limit scope. The value is random, HttpOnly, SameSite, and the database stores a hash. | Up to 7 days |
| Better Auth session cookies | Keeps a signed-in account authenticated and supports security checks when authentication is used. | Provider and session dependent |
Browser localStorage | Remembers the last saved pattern ID so the workbench can offer restoration after a refresh. It does not send the image itself. | Until cleared or replaced |
The pattern session cookie is set when an anonymous pattern API request needs a session. Blocking essential cookies or localStorage can prevent saved previews, account sessions, language preferences, or security features from working correctly.
Optional analytics and support
In production, the site loads analytics only when the corresponding environment variable is configured. The available integrations include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible, and Umami. Crisp chat is also loaded only when its website ID is configured. These services may set cookies or use similar identifiers under their own privacy policies. The current release does not enable Waffo checkout or claim that payment cookies are active.
Optional providers may process information outside your country. Review their notices before using an optional integration. The Privacy Policy explains the related data processing and your choices.
Managing cookies and storage
You can block, delete, or limit cookies through your browser settings. You can clear localStorage from the browser's site-data controls. You can also use browser extensions or privacy controls to limit optional scripts. Essential controls are not a consent bypass: blocking them may prevent the requested feature from functioning, but it does not delete server-side records automatically. Delete a saved pattern in the workbench or contact support when you need server-side deletion.
Contact and changes
For questions, contact StitchSnap support or hello@stitchsnap.app. This policy will be updated when the site's actual providers, cookie names, retention, or behavior changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
